Conover's Downtown Park is right in the heart of the city, so it's the perfect place for a short walk. There's plenty of room to picnic or relax and enjoy the scenery. The park is located in the geographic and cultural heart of the City at 112 2nd Avenue NE. Downtown Park is home to the large gazebo that has become the unofficial symbol of Conover that is now seen throughout town. Downtown Park is easily accessible by both pedestrian and vehicular traffic from downtown Conover and is located right across the street from both City Hall and the Conover Police Department. Along with the gazebo, Downtown Park also contains short and easy walking trails, benches, picnic tables and play equipment for kids.
